Cocktail hats are larger than fascinators but smaller and less dimensional than, say, a pillbox style hat. Fascinators are smaller - just a little party on your head. There are a variety of "attachment" options for both including combs, pin-loops, elastic, barrettes and headbands. To create these little treasures, we use a variety of traditional sewing and millinery techniques including buckram, wire-work and fine fabrics. Each one is hand-stitched and may be embellished with vintage or handmade flowers, feathers, rhinestones, buttons or other fanciful frippery.

Our stock of fabrics is constantly changing and we often use vintage materials. If you fall in love with a particular hat and we no longer have that fabric - never fear! Our Felt Hats are blocked one at a time on traditional wooden hat blocks. We use the highest-quality rabbit-fur velour felt (although we will use use traditional 100% wool if you prefer) and each one is hand-stitched, fully-lined and includes a calf-skin leather sweat-band. Many colors of felt are available and the decorative details are limited only by your imagination.
